This is an invitation to my first-ever Frame Drum Retreat which is happening this summer on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada! Suitable for beginners and intermediate level drummers, we’ll be focusing on lap-style frame drum techniques. I have a lot of great material to share, and I hope you can join us!
The registration fee ($180 Cdn – this is an early bird price until June 21) covers 10 hours of group instruction and a delicious catered lunch on Saturday, as well as a full set of notation sheets for the weekend’s drumming material. The retreat starts Friday evening (August 14) and runs until Sunday around noon (August 16).
Private lessons are available for retreat participants on Sunday afternoon for an additional fee. Contact me if you’re interested.
* Please note: participants must arrange for their own accommodations, transport and meals (except for lunch on Saturday). There is no camping on-site, but there are numerous accommodation options in the area.
For folks who wish to attend from outside Nova Scotia, the nearest airport is Stanfield International Airport in Halifax (YHZ). The retreat venue is near Hubbards, Nova Scotia and is approximately a 1-hour drive from the airport.
